Persimia’s engineers have extensive experience in a variety of engineering domains including flight dynamics, controls, aerodynamics, and statistics, amongst others. Persimia’s engineering consultants are routinely asked to develop complex, multi-physics models that integrate elements of flight dynamic simulation, controls engineering, and risk analysis. Persimia’s engineers draw from, and regularly contribute to, the archival literature on a variety of aerospace modeling and simulation topics. Strong emphasis is placed on model validation and conformance with international standards.

Autonomous Aircraft Design

Drone technology has numerous applications in the renewable energy and wildlife conservation domains, but there is a need for seamless, turn-key solutions with specialized sensors, data processing, and command and control. Persimia engineers have over 35 years of combined experience in drone system development and flight testing. Unlike many drone developers that design fairly generic systems, Persimia closely works with partners such as wildlife consultancies or renewable energy developers to create highly customized, turn-key solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing operations.

Custom Simulation Software

Persimia’s software development team creates customized software packages that connect Persimia’s multi-physics simulation tools to front-end interfaces, making them available to end users. This is accomplished through API interfaces with Persimia’s cloud-based computing platforms. Persimia works with clients to establish modeling and simulation needs, and creates a pipeline for data processing that allows users to run simulations from existing web-based tools, with all computations offloaded to the cloud.
